Found this critter crawling around my garden this morning .

Just wanted to say that this is a harvestmen (order Opiliones) not a spider (order Araneae). A spider has 2 body segments whereas the harvestmen only has 1.

Lovely picture though, I have a hard time getting one to stay still long enough for my own shot.

Yeah, on second look it is a little more substantial in the legs that a daddy longlegs. I dunno either :confused:

one morning, I took about 10/15 shots similar to this, the spider is so fascinating with it's almost transparent legs, only to discover later on that I had no card in my camera!:( What a disappointment!
